Service is an integral part of my makeup. My parents taught me the importance of helping others, making the world a better place and treating others as I would want to be treated. My employers – Merrill Lynch, Bank of Boston, Fidelity Investments, Fonville Morisey and Chappell Residential – reinforced this conviction with an untiring emphasis on unsurpassed customer service.
During the first half of my career, I was employed by several multi-national financial services companies in Boston as an institutional bond broker and equities trading manager. As a native of a small town in eastern NC, Boston was a valuable and exciting experience, but it wasn’t home. When the opportunity to join Wachovia Private Banking in Raleigh arose, I enthusiastically moved south.
The second half of my career began when I joined Fonville Morisey as a real estate broker and I found my true calling – helping buyers and selling achieve their goals. Clients tell me they valued my care, integrity, enthusiasm, knowledge, attention to detail, readiness to go the extra mile, and most meaningfully, putting their interest ahead of my own. I also collaborate with builders and developers to identify and acquire land, price, market and sell their new homes.
