Raleigh, NC – Chappell [Powered by Compass], in cooperation with REdesign.build and Southern Energy Management NC, is thrilled to announce one of the first net-zero-energy, modern home collections coming to Raleigh. Tower, located at 920 Tower Street, combines award-winning modernist design with the evolved principles of eco-friendly construction.
Construction is well underway, and the homes are expected to be delivered in spring 2024. Presales have already begun, with one of three homes in the boutique community already claimed.

Tower made headlines before hitting the Triangle market, being featured in the Wall Street Journal in 2021 and awarded the coveted Matsumoto Prize in 2020 by NC Modernist. Annually, Tower homes can generate as much renewable energy as they consume, if not more – virtually erasing a homebuyer’s carbon footprint. Climate-conscious materials & cutting-edge tech – TESLA Powerwall, Loxone Home Automation, EV-capable, solar panels – are pivotal to NZE performance.

One thoughtfully-crafted plan boasts 3.5+ bedrooms, 3.5 baths, ample flex space and a fully-finished basement in 4,000+ sqft. The basement offers buyers customizable flexibility, with two different upgradable layouts to select from. Whether the priority is hybrid WFH or studio space or creating passive income through a rentable living suite, Tower’s plan opens buyers’ options.

Other Triangle Developments
In addition to Tower, Chappell is bringing several other Triangle developments to market, including IDYLE, another Net-Zero-Ready 10 townhome collection coming to Downtown Raleigh. In the Lake Johnson area, Chappell and its development partners have launched 26 duet-style homes at Wrenwood, with the first offerings expected to be completed later this year.
