Chappell Celebrates Holiday Pie Event Success

Earlier this Fall, Chappell hosted our 3rd Annual Client Appreciation Pie Event, and it was everything we hoped it would be — warm, welcoming, and full of familiar faces. Held at Chatham Station in Downtown Cary, the afternoon gave us a chance to slow down, connect in person, and celebrate the people who make our work meaningful.
Guests stopped by to pick up a holiday pie, a bottle of prosecco and snap a family portrait to share later with friends and family. It was a simple gesture, but one rooted in gratitude. Watching people arrive, chat, laugh, and leave with a pie in their hands and smiles on their faces reminded us how special it is to spend time together, especially during such a busy season.
More than anything, this event was about connection. We loved seeing longtime clients, partners, neighbors, and families all in one place, sharing stories and catching up. These moments are a reminder that what we do extends far beyond transactions. The relationships built over the years, and the trust shared along the way, are what truly shape our work and our community.

Live harp guitar music from Andrew Kasab set the tone for the afternoon, adding an easy, festive energy that made the space feel relaxed and joyful. Guests lingered a little longer, kids danced, and conversations flowed naturally — exactly the kind of atmosphere we hope to create at this event each year.
One of the most heartwarming parts of the day came courtesy of NC Ruff, who joined us with adoptable dogs. The pups quickly became the stars of the afternoon, drawing smiles, laughter, and plenty of tail wags. Seeing guests pause to kneel down, cuddle a puppy, or ask how they could help was a beautiful reminder of how powerful small moments of joy can be.

We were also thrilled to see so many families take advantage of the photo station, capturing snapshots together to mark the day. Each guest received a high-resolution photo afterward, and we hope those images serve as a small keepsake of a meaningful afternoon spent together.
As the event wrapped up and the last pies were picked up, we couldn’t help but feel incredibly grateful. Events like this allow us to step away from the day-to-day and focus on what matters most — the people, the relationships, and the shared sense of community we’ve built together. Whether you’ve worked with us recently, years ago, or are simply part of our extended community, your presence made this event special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, brought their families, shared their time, and helped make the afternoon so memorable. We truly appreciate all that we’ve been able to accomplish together, and we’re honored to continue growing alongside such an incredible group of people.

From all of us at Chappell, thank you for being part of our community and for another wonderful year together.
