Gregg Street Sells Out in Downtown Raleigh

Chappell is thrilled to announce the first half of its Cumberland & Gregg development in Downtown Raleigh achieved a complete sell-out in under four months.

The dual-locale development, created in partnership with Concept 8, is an early success and epitomizes the demand for multi-residential communities in Downtown Raleigh. This was the first half of the development planned through this Chappell [Powered by Compass] x Concept 8 collaboration, with the first Gregg Street homes scheduled to deliver in 2022.

The community features eight modern townhomes distributed between two separate Downtown Raleigh locales: 1025 Gregg Street and 628 Cumberland Street. Each locale boasts easy access to both the urban excitement of Downtown Raleigh, and to public greenspace at recently renovated John Chavis Memorial Park.

While the locale was a considerable differentiator thanks to its accessibility to shopping, dining, and daily necessities Downtown; the seamless, open-concept layouts, and modern styling attracted buyers quickly.

With all of the townhomes at the Gregg Street locale under contract, the Cumberland & Gregg development is officially 50% pre-sold before construction’s completion. The much-anticipated townhomes coming to Cumberland St are launching in early 2022.

August 2021 // Cumberland & Gregg Launches + Presale Begins for Gregg Street. 

September 2021 // Gregg Street crews laid the foundation on and begin preliminary framing. 

October 2021 // Construction at Gregg Street goes vertical, and these townhomes begin to take shape.

November 2021 // Gregg Street sells out; construction continues on-site with final homes deliverable in 2022.

Coming in 2022 // Expected launch of Cumberland Street offerings in Early 2022.
